Parylene Temperature Limitations
Temperature limitations of Parylene are going to depend on two things really. And that's the type of Parylene and the environment that the Parylene will be in. When Parylene is heated in an oxidating environment, it will become brittle and crack. Parylene N, under Earth's atmosphere will become brittle and cracked around 70 to 80 degrees.
Parlyene C will be around 120 to 125 C, and then Parlyene F, the VT4 version, will be at temperatures at or greater than 250 degrees C. If you use Parlyene in inert environment under, say argon or nitrogen can be serviceable at much higher temperatures. Temperatures are greater than 200 C for every Parylene.
And that's a little bit about temperature limitations of Parylene.
