Rachael Lerebours
President and Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Lerebours joined HZO in 2020. Prior to HZO, she held various senior leadership roles in sales and marketing with Eaton, Grainger, and Dana. Rachael has a proven track record of driving profitable growth, developing executable strategies, and managing customer relationships. In her most recent role as Vice President of OEM sales, she managed $800M of revenue, led a team that developed a $1B pipeline, and delivered annual sales growth of ~10% in a mature market environment. Rachael has more than +20 years of experience in managing global and regional sales and marketing organizations across multiple market segments and customer channels. She holds a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies, Business Globalization, Summa cum Laude and a Master of Arts - Organizational Communication, Public Relations, and Marketing from Wayne State University.
Jason Savod
Chief finance officer
Jason Savod joined HZO in January 2020 as Vice President, Corporate Controller, to lead the finance and accounting operations at HZO. Before HZO, Jason served as Executive Director and Worldwide Controller with Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, a retail point-of-sale technology solution provider. Before Toshiba, Jason spent 16 years at Red Hat as Senior Director of Global Finance Operations and Controller. Jason holds a MAC from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts from Franklin and Marshall College.
Kamal Bherwani

Kamal Bherwani has more than 30 years of global technology and operating experience with multibillion-dollar enterprises across both the public and private sectors in CEO (Chief Executive Officer), CIO (Chief Information Officer), CTO (Chief Technology Officer), and CDO (Chief Digital Officer) roles. Kamal is the CEO of GCOM Software, a leading software and technology service focusing on the public sector. Previously, he served as the Chief Technology Officer of Inversora Agroindustrial Global, leading technology strategy, architecture, operations, and global private and venture capital technology investments. He has also spent a significant portion of his career in New York City under the administration of multiple Mayors, including as the first Chief Information Officer of the City’s Health and Human Services domain, comprised of several agencies focusing on social services, criminal justice, and health. Additionally, Kamal serves on several other company Boards, focusing on technology, energy, and media.

Ryan Pollock
Iron Gate Capital
Ryan is a Managing Partner at Iron Gate Capital (IGC), leading the firm’s technology investment strategy. He serves as a director of the board at IGC portfolio companies: Branded Online, Central Logic, HZO, Integrate.com, Liqid, RemoteLock, and Urgent.ly. Ryan also helps oversee IGC’s investments in Techstars Ventures and is currently the co-chair of the Rocky Mountain Venture Capital Association. He previously served as a board director of Acustream (acquired in 2018) and Kapost (acquired in 2019). Earlier in his career, Ryan held several management and operating positions at Investec Asset Management (LSE: INVP) in South Africa and England. Investec was formed as a startup in South Africa and has since grown to be a thriving multi-billion dollar market cap global banking and investment management company based in London. After a successful operating career, Ryan moved to the US in 2002. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Cape Town in South Africa, a graduate degree in International Economics, Politics, and Philosophy from Oxford University in England, and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He lives in Boulder, CO, with his wife, Lauren, and their two children.
Marcelo Podesta

Marcelo Podesta is an accomplished corporate leader with diverse experience. He currently serves as a Non-Executive Member of the Pan American Energy Finance Committee. Previously, Marcelo was CFO and executive committee member at Axion Energy for six years. Prior to that, he spent 27 years in various roles at J.P. Morgan Chase in investment and corporate banking. Marcelo has also served on the boards of Banco Comafi, ArgenCard, and BISA. Additionally, he contributed his expertise to the University of St. Andrew's executive board and several non-profit organizations in Argentina. Marcelo holds a Business Administration degree from Universidad Católica Argentina and an executive MBA from Harvard Business School. His visionary leadership and dedication continue to drive success in the corporate world.
Kerry Liu
Horizons Ventures
Kerry is a venture investor at Horizons Ventures. He is an active board director or observer at HZO, Syzygy, Fleet Aerospace, H2Pro, and Zero Avia. Before joining Horizons Ventures, Kerry was an executive management team member at Kinaxis (KXS.TO), leading global product management & corporate development. Before Kinaxis, Kerry was the Founder & CEO of a leading artificial intelligence startup, Rubikloud, which Kinaxis acquired. Outside of Horizons Ventures, Kerry is an active angel investor and advisor to early-stage startups. A graduate of The University of British Columbia, Kerry lives in Toronto with his wife and daughter.
