Job Overview
This role is responsible for leading and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS) and overall quality performance across operations. The Quality Manager will drive cross-functional alignment to ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction while developing a proactive quality culture. This position owns quality strategy execution, including process improvement, CAPA effectiveness, supplier quality performance, and customer issue resolution. Responsibilities

Quality Management System

  • Own the implementation, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of the QMS

  • Lead internal and external audits; act as primary point of contact for certification bodies and customers

  • Establish quality objectives, KPIs, and reporting cadence; ensure alignment with business goals

  • Drive standardization and global alignment of quality processes and documentation

  • Develop and coach teams on quality systems, ensuring organizational competency and compliance

Corrective Action, Risk, and Change Management

  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and CAPA processes, ensuring timely closure and effectiveness

  • Drive a culture of problem prevention vs. reaction, leveraging data and trend analysis

  • Own change management processes, ensuring quality risks are assessed and mitigated

  • Ensure learnings are institutionalized across sites and teams

Operational Quality & Process Improvement

  • Work with Operations, Engineering, and Applications teams to drive process capability and yield improvement

  • Establish and monitor SPC, control plans, and process validation activities

  • Ensure effective control of non-conforming material and disposition processes

Supplier Quality Management

  • Drive supplier quality strategies, including qualification, monitoring, and development

  • Lead critical supplier audits, performance reviews, and corrective actions

  • Drive supplier accountability

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, develop, and mentor quality personnel (engineers, technicians, inspectors)

  • Define roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for the quality team

  • Build a high-performance, accountable quality organization

  • Promote cross-functional ownership of quality

Required Education and/or Experience

  • 7–10+ years in Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering, with progressive leadership responsibility

  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 (or equivalent QMS standards)

  • Experience in electronics manufacturing, coatings, or similar technical environments

  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and driving systemic improvements

  • Deep proficiency in Six Sigma / Lean tools (SPC, FMEA, RCA, Control Plans, CAPA)

  • Experience with supplier quality and NPI processes

  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect quality performance to operational and financial outcomes

  • Must be legally authorized to access export-controlled information or work on ITAR-restricted projects

  • Pay: $85,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
